What is felt? Felt is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing woolen fibers While some types of felt are very soft, some are tough enough to form construction materials. Felt can be of any color, and made into any shape or size.

How to make felt crafts? Many beginners feel very difficult to make felt craft, actually making non-woven needle method is super simple, and nothing more than that is hand-stitched needle. It such as the Blanket stitch, Patch sewn, Running stitch, Backstitch, French knot and so on.

No matter the finishing felt product is how complicated and beautiful, basic technique stitches is only about six-seven kinds. Just the object became smaller, or craft requirements more carefully.

I specially produced and photographed some basic tutorial pictures, to learn together. Each tutorial have some pictures to show you the detailing, you may wish to try relearn a few times. This is a good lesson for Beginners like DIY non-woven.

First of all, we need to come out of the design concept. As new start, I want to build my facebook page panel, name Jessamy crafts, and it is close to Christmas, so I was inspired by the colors green, red, and brown.

So I start create design from my pc by choosing the font type and size,

then print out.

now your design is on your hand, just try to cut out each alphabet, as the picture.

then trace it one by one on your non-woven. I trace the letter in turn, to avoid seeing the pen's ink. You all can try to use Water erasable pen, so you not need to follow my way (I use normal ball pen).
